Meet Elyse
I’m your friendly neighborhood eldest daughter who burned the candle at both ends building startups, put her free time into crafting insane itineraries for friends and family, and has spreadsheets on spreadsheets of hotels, destinations and restaurants.
After years of obsessive research on the travel industry and traveling to over 50 countries to get boots-on-the-ground experience- and OK, some begging and pleading from friends and family- I’ve created Golden Ratio Travel, a member of Jetset World Travel, to bring your trips to life.
I’ve been to over 20 wine regions and have developed extensive restaurant knowledge, from taco stands to 3-star Michelin experiences. Some of my favorite recent travel memories were following a porcupine in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, dining at the legendary Attica in Melbourne, Australia, where a crocodile taco possibly changed my life, and hiking Laguna de Los Tres in El Chalten, Argentina.
